Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Orders.

When you place an order with us we send an automated electronic confirmation. This does not constitute final acceptance and at any time prior to charging your credit card we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Payment.

No charge will be made against your credit card until your order is packed, addressed, and awaiting despatch. Although prices are displayed in a number of currencies all charges are made in New Zealand dollars using a conservative exchange conversion rate.

Despatch.

In most circumstances goods will be despatched within two working days of receipt of the order.

Delivery.

Except for local deliveries all orders are sent by insured International Airpost. Depending on the location delivery usually takes between 6 and 14 days. We quote approximate delivery times as listed by NZ Post. Unless prior agreement is made we accept no liability for any consequent loss or damages arising from a failure of the postal services to deliver within these guidelines. Should a customer for any reason refuse delivery of a correctly addressed parcel sent in accordance with our stated policies then that parcel shall be deemed to have been delivered.

Freight, Insurance, and Tax.

Our prices are quoted inclusive of freight and insurance but do not include any taxes or duty for which the customer may be liable on receipt of the order.

Insurance Claims.

All parcels are insured. Customers are indemnified against loss or damage of goods in transit subject to the following conditions:

  • Damaged parcels -If after due process the relevant postal authorities accept liability for the damage we will then refund the full purchase price of the goods. Procedures will vary depending on your country but you should never accept delivery of any parcel you suspect may have been damaged without first receiving written confirmation of the condition of the contents from the postal authorities or their representatives. To do so will almost certainly void your right to compensation.
  • Lost Parcels - Reimbursement for lost parcels shall occur at the earlier of either the time NZ Post receives confirmation of loss from the postal authorities of the customer's country, or in the case where no response is forthcoming from these authorities when a period of three months has elapsed from the date of our notification of non-delivery.

Order Changes and Cancellations.

You may cancel or change your order at any time prior to despatch (as indicated by the time your credit card transaction is processed) by sending us an email which must include in the subject field your order reference number and either the words "cancellation" or "changes". Should you change your mind after the goods have been shipped our normal return policies will apply.

Returns.

We guarantee the quality of everything we sell from our website (skin care items excluded). If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us in unused condition within 30 days of delivery, if applicable in its original undamaged packaging, and we will happily refund to the original cardholder's credit card. If the product is not faulty, the original expense incurred in shipping the product to you is not refundable (and will be deducted at cost). You must e-mail info@kiwigoldsheepskins.com before returning the goods.

Every footwear manufacturer interprets international footwear sizes slightly differently. We have made every attempt to provide accurate size conversion information. However if an item of footwear isn't a good fit, we will happily replace it with another. The postage/packaging cost of re-sending another pair will be charged to you at cost.

Results obtained from our skin care product may vary and we cannot guarantee individual results. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use. For the safety of our customers, cosmetics are excluded from our quality guarantee as they can't be re-sold.

Faulty Goods.

If either we or the manufacturer or their agent agree that the goods are faulty then we will supply a replacement. In cases where no replacement is available the original purchase price will be refunded.

Security.

All information made available to us for the purpose of processing your transaction is sent to our server via the industry standard SSL encryption technology. It is then transferred to our retail sales database, which for security reasons has no connection with the internet or any other public electronic network.

Privacy and Use of Information.

All confidential information sent to us (names, addresses,email addresses and credit card details) will be used only for the purpose of processing the sale and handling any subsequent related issues. We undertake not to sell this information or share it with any third party.
